Diary of a dog trainer...

I have a documentary class this block and for the first brief we were given we had to do 'Diary of a...' and pick a topic to do. I chose dog trainer because I thought this would make some interesting photos. We were meant to have 5 final images but I couldn't decide on just 5, so submitted 7. Here are the ones I decided on...

Here are just a couple snaps of my Chinchilla, Mrs Wool, I took this morning.
Technically, they aren't great as I used on camera flash, 1600 ISO and 120th because it was a dark room, but I love them all the same :)

I think this edit is amazing, I would love to try something like this and I think I might. I shall post it if I manage it, or I might even just post my attempt good or bad?

Mini Icebergs...

So, the snow here has been quite bad recently, so much so that it has caused snow/ice to form on the river and cause little Icebergs, here are some photos I took of them.

Icicles...

This is a photo of icicles that are hanging off a gutter that was pulled down off my house when snow was falling off the roof with the sun behind it.

The really shallow depth of field (1.8!!) make the background of this image really blurry and the sun into specks, this also makes the icicles show up more because if the background was busy they would be harder to see.

I love this time of year because everything is so pretty and I love cold weather, I can't handle hot weather. And, also, because of christmas of course. I hope everyone has a really good christmas and an amazing new year :)
